If it is your role to organise special events, meetings, conferences, exhibitions or incentive travel in Australia then you could be eligible to attend the Australian Business Events Expo (ABEE) as a Hosted Buyer.
Hosted Buyers will be drawn from the following sectors:
Association Buyers
Executive staff within an Association company who organise, or have a final decision in congresses, conventions or meetings.
Government/ Corporate Buyers
Executives within government or a corporate company who are responsible for organising meetings, conferences, events and incentive travel programs. Participants should have responsibility for, or direct influence over, decisions regarding destinations, venues and suppliers.
Agency Buyers
Executive staff within conference and event organisers, incentive houses, destination management companies and other agencies directly involved in national/ international meetings, incentive programs or hospitality.
The 2011 ABEE Hosted Buyer Program is open to buyers from Australia and New Zealand. In order to qualify as a hosted buyer, every application will be reviewed against the ABEE Hosted Buyer qualification criteria as outlined below:

In the interest of delivering a high quality Hosted Buyer Program, every application will be reviewed against the ABEE Hosted Buyer qualification criteria. If you feel you do not meet the qualification criteria, you are able to register as a trade visitor to attend the show.
